Happy MONDAY! TGIM! MONDAYS QUOTE OF THE DAY:
"He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart shall flow rivers of living water.” - John 7:38 (Modern English Translation)
MONDAYS THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: In the last several years, I have had a fascination with water. I love it when it rains here in Austin and the creek beds in the local park are flowing with water. It rained here recently and this was a picture I took from a park near my house. Sometimes I like to take my shoes off and wade in the water. Or sometimes I feel like if I can touch the water, it has some sort of healing power. I will sit for a minute and just feel the water flow over my hands or feet. It is definitely grounding. This past week I was trying to go with the flow. I was trying to go with the flow of life. I went to several streams to meditate, ponder, and think. I went to talk to God and ask God what might be going on with my life. I ran and God spoke to me. What are the next steps? I felt him say, "Faith over fear". "Trusting God is in control of this situation..." This 1 hour long YouTube video spoke powerfully and deeply to my soul:
And just this morning this other Scripture came to mind: Proverbs 3:5-6. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him and he will guide your paths." And waiting is hard. From Coach Matt MONDAY AFFIRMATIONS: 1) I can do this. 2) I choose to let go of things that are beyond my control. 3) There’s no shame in asking for help when I need it. 4) The obstacles I face are just growth opportunities.
