Count your daily wins…

Happy MONDAY! TGIM! QUOTE OF THE DAY: Count your wins! Celebrate the little victories!   THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: This first thought is paraphrased from a recent post from Rich Roll. I’ve maintained a fairly positive attitude throughout this global pandemic.  For good reason — I am very blessed and have a lot to be thankful for.  But as of late, I find myself struggling. With the community displaced by screens, my enthusiasm wanes. Church services are online.  Zoom for Sunday school.  Zoom for my Camp Gladiator classes.   Even as an introvert, I miss being with people. I suspect you do as well. Which brings us to a choice — descend into a darkness or rise to the occasion. We can’t control the unlimited externalities. But we can control our response. So here is my reminder to myself: Breathe. Be gentle on yourself and others. Move your body. Eat healthy. Rest. Let go of expectations. Accept what is. Go inward. Make a list of things to be grateful for. And tell your loved ones how you feel. Additionally, I recently watched a video message that asked us to count the wins in our life.  I don’t know if I have mentioned that on here or not.  Count your little victories.  It feels applicable.  Anything can be a win right?  I woke up and got a workout in. WIN!  I helped out people at work.  WIN!  I ate some healthy foods.  WIN.   You get the idea right?   So this week let’s as always, be thankful and count our wins and celebrate our little victories!
