OMMS – Obstacles Make Me Stronger

“The choices you make from this day forward will lead you, step by step, to the future you deserve.”

~ Chris Murray

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Happy Monday! I have heard it said before that, you don’t need a New Year’s resolution to make a change. All you need is a Monday. Make this the week you change your life. “Life is a practice. You are what you do each day.” ~Bryant McGill Are you being the person that you are dreaming about? Are you becoming more and more awesome every day? Do you have a desire to be better? I think at some level we can all say that we do. But for me, it’s something more. I have a very strong sense of purpose. I recently took a free strength’s test at ( I encourage you to take it and send me your results! Reply and let me know! It revealed my top strengths as follows: 1) Spirituality, sense of purpose, and faith. 2) Zest, enthusiasm, and energy. 3) Gratitude. When you live with a sense of purpose and you know why you are here, and you have a lot of energy, and you are grateful, it’s kind of hard to have a bad day. I recently did a speech about that whole topic. (HA – humor was also a top strength) When you are living your life on purpose and you come across obstacles you can chant some of these mantras below: Obstacles Make Me Stronger. (OMMS) Bring it On. I am excited. Doing this has helped me mentally over the past couple of weeks. I go on a bike ride and the wind it’s a little STRONGER than normal. I say to myself. Obstacles Make Me Stronger. During a hard workout, I say to myself Obstacles Make Me Stronger. I am facing a hard situation at work, I say Obstacles Make me Stronger. I am practicing this more and more. It’s all part of this Optimize Coach Program I am enrolled in which is fantastic by the way. You can sign up to get free wisdom here ( And or view this note about OMMS here: ( I also recently wrote this: As the sun rises on another brand new day, may you be thankful that you get to see another sunrise. May you be aware, happy, and thankful that the bright light may hurt your eyes as it shines directly into them. May the dawn of the new day bring you hope. May the dawn of the new day bring you love. May it stir up something in you that says yes I can do this. May it give you life today. Today. Is. That. Day. Monday! Let’s do this! From Coach Matt AFFIRMATIONS OF THE DAY:
